At GMC Maritime Academy you can follow the only complete course of study in Greece, leading to the Diploma of Electrotechnical Rating (ETR) or Electrician Merchant Marine Officer (ETO), having completed 3 months of study and 3 months of paid sea service for Electrotechnical Ratings, or 6 months of study and 9 months of paid sea service for Electrician Merchant Marine Officer (ETO).

Στη GMC Maritime Academy μπορείτε να ακολουθήσετε έναν πλήρη κύκλο σπουδών στον Πειραιά που οδηγεί στην απόκτηση του Διπλώματος Ηλεκτροτεχνίτη (ETR) ή Ηλεκτρολόγου Αξιωματικού Εμπορικού Ναυτικού (ΕΤΟ) με 3 μήνες φοίτηση και 3 μήνες αμειβόμενης θαλάσσιας υπηρεσίας για τους Ηλεκτροτεχνίτες ή 6 μήνες φοίτηση και 9 μήνες αμειβόμενης θαλάσσιας υπηρεσίας για τους Ηλεκτρολόγους Αξιωματικούς Εμπορικού Ναυτικού.

Course’s entry standards:
1) the trainee must be holder of High School Diploma
2) the trainee must be certified by a doctor to be in good health and submit a valid medical fitness card
3) the trainee must be holder of a certificate of good knowledge in English Language
The course is approved by Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Traficom) in cooperation with Åland University of Applied Sciences.
