FURUNO HELLAS has been awarded a new contract to supply ECDIS to THENAMARIS, a global ship manager of modern, high specification ocean-going vessels. THENAMARIS’ fleet under management currently comprises 54 vessels, including 42 tankers, 9 dry bulk carriers, and 3 container vessels. THENAMARIS LNG Inc. also manages 1 LNG vessel.

THENAMARIS has already installed the FURUNO ECDIS system on a number of vessels, including newbuildings, and the new contract was signed for the installation of the Dual FMD-3200 ECDIS Multifunction Display (MFD) sets with Radar overlay across the remaining vessels of the THENAMARIS fleet.
